What we use cookies for

cara.irish currently uses only essential cookies — the kind needed to make the site and your account work properly, for example, keeping you securely logged in while you use your dashboard.

We do not use:

• Tracking cookies
• Advertising or marketing cookies
• Third-party analytics cookies that follow you across other websites

If that ever changes — for example, if we add optional analytics in future to understand how the site is used — we’ll update this policy and ask for your consent first, through the same cookie banner described below.

Your choices

When you first visit cara.irish, you’ll see a simple banner with three options:

• Accept — allow all cookies, including any optional ones. Currently, this has no practical difference from Decline, since we only use essential cookies today.
• Decline — allow only the strictly necessary cookies needed for the site to function
• Settings — see exactly which cookies are in use and choose individually

Essential cookies can’t be switched off, because without them core parts of the site — like staying logged in — won’t work. We’ll never hide non-essential cookies inside “essential” ones to get around this.
